Digital Transformation in Predictive and Prognostic Screening for Physical Rehabilitation: A Partnership Between Hospital de Amor and Hi! Healthcare Intelligence

Introdução

The increasing demand for personalized physical rehabilitation services, combined with limited resources, has exposed the inefficiencies of traditional manual screening processes. The need for a faster, more accurate, and patient-centered approach is essential to improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes.

Objetivo

The objective of this project is to modernize the screening process in the Physical Rehabilitation department of Hospital de Amor by replacing manual methods with an advanced digital solution, focusing on predictive and prognostic metrics to enhance patient care.

Métodos

The solution implemented by Hi! involved the development of a robust data collection platform, utilizing clinical metrics and algorithms for patient risk stratification. Data were collected from patients using scientifically validated questionnaires, and advanced machine learning models were applied to segment patients based on risk profiles. Dashboards were created to assist healthcare professionals in making informed, data-driven decisions.

Resultados

The integration of digital screening tools resulted in a significant reduction in manual processing time and an improvement in the identification of high-priority cases. The use of real-time data visualization enabled more efficient resource allocation and increased the personalization of rehabilitation plans for each patient. Additionally, this new process contributed to the creation of approximately 90 new physiotherapy slots over a period of 80 days and a cost reduction of R$6,712.50 in screening processes.

Conclusões

The collaboration between Hospital de Amor and Hi! demonstrated that digital transformation in healthcare screening can effectively optimize operational efficiency and improve patient care outcomes. This project serves as a model for the implementation of predictive analytics in clinical settings.
