JONATHAN POL
INSERMDr. Pol is a researcher at INSERM in the Cordeliers Research Centre where he heads a group in Guido Kroemer’s lab (Paris, France). He obtained his PhD in Virology in 2008 (Paris, France). Then, he joined the lab of Drs. Lichty & Wan at McMaster University (ON, Canada) to develop oncolytic cancer vaccines. In 2014, he returned to France to study cancer immunogenic cell death and immunosurveillance, and pursue the development of cancer immunotherapies. Recently, his group evidenced that autoimmunity can fuel cancer immunosurveillance and prevent tumor emergence. Dr. Pol has authored >100 publications (h-index=44). He is a reviewer for multiple international journals and associate editor of Frontiers in Oncology & Frontiers in Immunology.
