She holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (1996), PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the Department of Biochemistry at the University of São Paulo (2003), and Professor Title from the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo (2015). 
She is currently a Research Coordinator at the Center for Translational Research in Oncology at the Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo, ICESP, and Collaborating Professor at the Faculty of Medicine at USP. She has experience in the area of Biochemistry, with an emphasis on Molecular Biology, working mainly on the following topics: papillomavirus, molecular variants, cancer, cellular transformation, cellular immortalization and viral transcription.
